William Brown is a founding partner of SGW Tax Advocacy Group. His 34-year IRS career included service as a Revenue Officer, 21 years as a Senior Offer Examining Specialist, and four years as an Appeals Settlement Officer.
His background combines field-level enforcement experience with financial investigation, taxpayer financial analysis, Offer in Compromise evaluation, installment agreement analysis, and settlement work. He understands how collection matters develop and how financial resolution decisions are evaluated.
At SGW, William leads collections strategy, enforcement response, financial analysis, and operational settlement support. He also contributes to the development of TaxAdvisor360’s collections workflows and financial resolution systems.
